Preacher
Lyle Asbill
I was born in Montgomery, AL at Maxwell Air Force Base as mu father was serving in the US Armed Forces. I have lived in Alaska, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alberta, Canada, which is where my mother was from. I left Edmonton to attend Oklahoma Christian and graduated in 1982 with degrees in Bible and Social Work. I have been preaching for 28 years; having served churches in Des Moines, IA, Grapevine, TX, Indianapolis, IN and this is my second time here in Naples. prior to full-time ministry i worked for 10 years in Oklahoma City in Commercial Real Estate and served as a deacon and part of a religious theatre group. I have been married to my wife Carrie for almost 35 years and we have 2 children; a son Christian and a daughter Baylee who live in Tulsa, Ok with their families. I have a keen interest in Foreign Missions. I have had the opportunity to make several trips to Ukraine as well as Russia, Nicaragua, and Ghana. My favorite part about ministry is watching people have those "aha" moments when a truth of Gods word becomes clear.
Shepherd
Hugh Travis
Over fifty years ago a beautiful Christian lady grabbed hold of my heart and soul. Diana Rollins led me to Christ and we have enjoyed forty five years of marriage. My prayer is for God to continue to allow me to labor in His kingdom for His glory and honor.
Matthew 22:37-39
Shepherd
Scott Otey
Not having been raised in the Church probably provides me with a unique perspective on Church Leadership. No pre-conceived ideas or tainted hopes. I absolutely adore my church family., second only to my immediate earthy family. After 40 plus years in the working world I recently retired from full time work. I now understand better than ever before that NONE of us are identified by our profession-by "what we do". We are identified by our relationship to Christ and with each other!
Evangelism Minister
Russ Bone
My wife and I have been married for 51 years and as we grow closer to each other our desire is to grow closer to Jesus as we try to serve the Church for which He gave His life. The goal in any ministry we serve is to help our fellow Christians fall in love with God’s Word and realize it MUST be our constant “roadmap.“
Psalms 119:105–Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet along life’s
pathway.
Shepherd
Terry Billingsby
My parents raised me in the church and it has always been a place that is comforting and fulfilling to me throughout my life. I strive to be an example of Christian living that is found in Jesus's teachings. Together with my wife of over 40 years, we seek to serve the needs of the congregation.
Proverbs 22:1
Shepherd
Barry Brown
During a Bible study with friends, Barry learned that the only way to become a Christian was to be baptized by immersion. He became an active member following the scriptural idea that without works, faith is dead. It was while he was going through the death of a child that Barry saw our congregational “faith and works” to encourage him and his family. Revelation 22:18-19 and Proverbs 3:3-5
Youth Minister
Alex Tucker
Born in Henderson, TN to amazing parents that made sure I was raised in the instruction of the Lord in a true demonstration of love. Growing up in the Estes Church of Christ, I was encouraged and mentored by many amazing people. I attended Freed-Hardeman University where I received my degree in Youth and Family Ministry. I married the wonderful Hannah Tucker, together we are the proud parents of our little boy, Evan. My favorite part of ministry is being able to be with people when they realize the love and sacrifice that our Father made for us. John 3:16

We have been members of the church our entire life. I find joy in fixing things and helping people. I try to always see the good things and admire God's awesome works.

Admin
Kathleen Brown
I was baptized in 1990 and have been an active member since. I enjoy spending time with my family (kids, grandkids) and i love to spoil my dogs. When I am not in my office, I can be found in the Audio/Visual booth, grabbing coffee, or volunteering in the daycare. My role as an administrator allows me to be active in many of our ministries. Colossians 3 is a reminder to me that our attitude towards others is a choice and that we should view others as Christ views them.

Ministry Leader-Women's Ministry
Carla Sledge
I was first “introduced” to the Church of Christ when I met my husband, Willie. I came to know Christ two times. The first time, He knew me, but I didn’t really know Him. The second time was when my life became synchronized in Him because of a trial I was going through. It was then I began to realize that If the Lord takes you to it, He will get you through it. This experience prepared me to be a testimony for other woman to let them know that if I can do it, they too can do it, or if I can get through it, they too can get through. “ We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
I Corinthians 5:20
Director of Livingston Academy
Marcella Wakeland
I’m the daughter of faithful parents who took our family overseas into the mission field. I first started teaching children’s Bibles classes in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia when I was about 14 years old. Besides Australia, I’ve taught Bible lessons to children in Jamaica, Ghana in West Africa and in every church of which I’ve been a member. In college I earned a degree in education and taught in the public school systems in Arkansas and Florida. Currently, I am blessed to teach Bible lessons to the precious children who are part of Livingston Academy.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
